Other than the occasional honking of horns or the almost rhythmic dinging of traffic signs, it was a rather quiet overcast night in Southern Manhattan. A young man stood in the entrance of a small alleyway, just outside the range of a bright streetlamp. The waxing gibbous moon shone brightly in the cloudless sky above the cemetery, where the only other sources of light were the scattered candles and Jack-O-Lanterns. Movin' out!

Well, dA screwed up again. Not only is their literature submission system utter garbo, but many people's written works (including some of my buddies') have been taken down during a recent purge of porn stuff. So, I've packed up and moved to pixiv. Their literature submission system is so cool. You can separate text into pages, have stories be part of a series (where links to other parts are created automatically) and can even have scheduled submissions, and none of this stuff is locked behind premium. So any of my new stories will be posted there: https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/19182546 I'll still leave this account up, but it'll never be updated beyond this point. So if you still want to see any of the new stuff I do, you'll have to go to pixiv. I do hope you guys come to follow, though. I tend to be more active there overall, anyways.

Story progress update

Some of you may have noticed that the original submission of The Superhero Effect has been deleted. Aside from it being a hideous mess of a half-assed internet fiction, a revised part 1 of The Superhero Effect is on the way. I have essentially finished the outline for the story, and am about ready to begin writing the story proper. Now don't get your hopes too high. Aside from my terminal laziness and still having to deal with classes, I'm taking a bit of a different approach to writing the story this time. I finally did it. I finally figured out how to retool The Superhero Effect. The main problem I had with the original concept was that there were too many characters. At my current skill level, 10 main characters was way too much. So, I knew that if I were to pull this story off, I needed to shrink the cast. The problem was the story focused heavily on character interaction, and the way everyone played off of each other. However, I managed to figure out how to keep the core story structure and idea while removing the character dependency. And from that, I've managed to reduce the cast size by taking the attributes from multiple characters and
